A special venue and a wonderful initiative

A special venue and a wonderful initiative

The Szimpla Farmers' Market in Budapest hosts a charity kitchen every Sunday, giving a different nonprofit the opportunity to collect donations each week. Its home is a genuine ruin pub on a pedestrian street in the heart of Budapest.

This Sunday, the attention turned to us. On Father's Day, our dads carried supplies, cooked, washed up and served visitors — tirelessly.

At the market we met open-minded, curious people. Some were simply browsing, while others became returning customers. Several tourists also gave us a few minutes of their time to talk about why we were there and the cause we support.

For one Sunday morning, our world truly was one!

The ingredients were donated by Tamás Tusjak — Kolbász Kamra, Tesco Hungary's Hermann Ottó Street store in Győr, and our families.
