Programs worth a closer look

Summer integrated day camp

Our oldest and most popular leisure program. A one-week camp built around a tale — the children have already been Smurfs, wandered through jungles and the Hundred Acre Wood. The camp closes with a small performance for parents and supporters.

Győrzámoly Sports Hall · 14 kacifántos children, 14 young and 14 adult helpers

  • Tímea Fejes
  • Nikoletta Pulai

Balaton days

A 3-night family camp during summer break — framed by story therapy, juggling or music therapy. Parents get a half-day off; evenings are for campfires and conversation.

Regens Wagner Guest House, Balatonmáriafürdő · 12 families + therapists

Budapest days

Our world is one, even for a group in wheelchairs. 1 night, 2 days — we've been to the City Park, the House of Music, the Opera, the Vigadó, the Tale Museum and the Money Museum.

  • Zsuzsanna Gál — special educator, music therapist
  • Anna Lang-Felföldi — conductor, AAC specialist

Forest therapy

Led by Pál Péter Péter (Csodálatos Erdőutak) — the Japanese shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) method adapted for our children. The goal is not movement but observation and relaxation.

Püspök forest, Tényő forest, Illak forest at Pannonhalma

  • Dóra Pálla-Horváth — special educator
  • Tamara Nagy — conductor

Music therapy

Once a month, delivered by a team of 7 music therapists plus an AAC specialist. Our mentor is Zsuzsanna Gál; our local music therapist is Diána Pavliskó.

Intensive rehabilitation days

Quarterly 2–5 days — 2×50 minutes of one-on-one attention and movement. For profound motor disabilities, passive and active mobilisation eases everyday care too.

  • Anna Lang-Felföldi — Pfaffenrot therapist
  • Lili Gönye — conductor, physiotherapist

Dance Ability

Once a year, led by therapist Sára Tóth — movement, music and rhythm building community. We've partnered with choirs, folk dance groups and student councils.

Ice-skating outings

Once a year, at the invitation of the Vas Kakasok IC/HC Győr amateur ice hockey team, we take to the ice together at the Győr Ice Hall.

Train excursions

Travelling by train as a wheelchair-using group is rare. Let our world be one on the rails too! We've been to Pápa, Komárom and Csorna.

Marica's puppet theatre

Under the aegis of the Társalkotó Association, led by Mariann Tárnok — with Mari Sz. Nagy and Lilla László. Interactive shows, humour, high spirits.

Parasport day

Every February 22, we exercise with a nearby school class using adapted equipment — boccia, indoor bowling, foam swords. Our world is one in the gym too.

10th anniversary · 2026

Story Wanderer — ten years of shared experiences

In July 2026, the kacifántos camp was held for the tenth time. These five days, as the campers call them, are filled with experiences, joy and love.

Disabled and non-disabled children and adult helpers play, create and explore together. Year after year they experience that difference is a natural part of life, in every moment.

True inclusion happens💚 in shared experiences💙 in caring attention💚 in simply being together

That was true of our tenth anniversary camp too, named Story Wanderer. A short film made for the closing celebration brings together the finest moments of the previous nine years.
