About us
Active since 2016 so no one is left invisible.
One World Foundation has been active since 2016. Nearly 30 families in and around Győr form a close community working for their children with the greatest support needs — for themselves, for one another, entirely as volunteers.
Officially our children are profoundly and multiply disabled. We call them kacifántos, because that's how we see them — twisting, funny, wondering, and teaching us patience and presence every day.

The heart of the foundation — the first kacifántos

Nóri leads the foundation; the tasks are shared by parents in team-work. Every program has its own dedicated specialists. Through the “We help at home” project we employ 15 caregivers. Volunteers make our work complete — especially at running events and fundraising stands.

I've followed the Foundation from the very beginning. Seeing how far they've come, and what a close, persistent team they've become, is a hope-giving example. We badly need examples like this.
Nóri and her team bring the „kacifántos” children and their parents closer to every layer of society with wonderful, inspiring ideas, special programs and community communication. Our world is one — we need them, and a smile is the answer to a smile.
I came as a music therapist wanting to give an experience through music — and left each session at least as enriched myself. The parents' devotion is deeply moving, and the children's humour and full presence teach me what really matters.
I came to the summer camps as a helper and left richer as a person. These children teach love and acceptance without words. This foundation works heart and soul so that joy and dignity are natural for these children.
One World Foundation is, for me, a place of real acceptance and unselfconscious joy. When I play the flute for them, differences don't matter — only the shining eyes and heartfelt laughter.
